We have several local organizations that were formed to serve, helping others in need around our community.
“ The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” “ No one has ever become poor by giving.”
Friendly Quilter's and Crafter's
Quilter's and Crafter enjoy sewing and quilting. We hope to provide inspiration, encouragement and show helpful tips we have learned along the way. Our group shares quilting ideas, patterns, pictures of quilts how to decorate with quilts. This is a GREAT place for our fellow Quilters to come, learn and share.! All Quilters and Quilters-to-be young and older are encouraged and welcome!! We are an amazing group of quilters!!
We meet every Tuesday from 10:00-2:00.
Location: Friendsville First Baptist Church 403 N Farnum St, Friendsville, TN 37737
Friendsville Citizen's of Community Improvement CCI
We aid needy families in our community when tragic strikes assist with human needs (groceries, clothing, medical supplies, and emotional support). Throughout the year, we organize several diverse fundraisers to raise money for families at Christmas time by providing a food basket and presents for children to have under the tree on Christmas morning. Without the love and support we receive from our community, this would not be possible. CCI is a caring group of individuals. They are made up of men, women, and some young adults. As a non-profit organization, we provide a visible presence of community love for those in need. Further, we are a comprehensive caregiving organization that allows volunteers to provide help to their community. We are always in need of volunteers to come to join us. For more information about CCI, call 865-995-2831
