Waste & Recycling


The City of Friendsville does not currently provide recycling services or containers for drop-off.

Information regarding special drop sites for aluminum, newspaper, cardboard, mixed paper, plastic bottles, used oil, batteries, electronics, paints and chemicals can be acquired by contacting Keep Blount Beautiful at 865-681-4809.


Garbage Services

Garbage removal services are not provided by the city. There are several private carriers that provide waste services. Individuals may also transport their waste to public landfill.
